1. About taxi Oppdal - Gjevilvasshytta. Where we can find taxi in Oppdal (near train station) and How much it cost?

2. Where in Oppdal we can buy cans for gas stove (for example http://static.norwichcamping.co.uk.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/product-images/c/o/coleman-500.jpg) ?

2. You can buy fuel for gas stoves in the sports shop near the train station. (Just ask the locals) They also have gas containers in just about any gas station.

Ca. 500 NOK for a regular taxi, ca. 800 NOK for a maxi-taxi.

The gas-stations are open all day, Sport1 0900-1800.MX Sport unknown, but most likely a few hours less.

 

By the way, you can`t drive to Gjevillvasshytta, you have to ski the last 10 km or so.

What about hitch-hiking to Gjevilvasshytta?

A regular taxi costs NOK 700-800. You can also take a bus from Oppdal to Lønset (very few departures each day) and there is also a boat service on Gjevillvatnet (the lake)

during the summer months.
