  3. Sorry for my english. In 10 days we will start the classic winter traverse (with pulka) of Sarek, starting in Ritsem and ending in Kvikkjokk, going trough Ruohtesvagge to Mikkastugan and then trough Rapadalen towards Aktse, with a visit at Bierikjavvre. We have a little concern about the state of rivers and lakes along this route. Sometimes rivers and lakes can freeze in layers, with the dangerwhenn passing trough you sink sometimes very deep. Are there recent or common issues with the following rivers or lakes on which we should take the more then normal attention: - Vuojatadno-river - Ruohtesvagge-river/stream - Rahpajakka-river - Raahpaadno-river - Bierikjavvre-lake - Laitaure-lake Thank you very much, Steve http://patagoniandreams.com/

  6. hello, Sorry for my english. From 8 april to 25 april we come to Norwegian and Swedish Lapland to do some snowshoe/winter trekking. First week we wil walk from Katerat (Norway) to Nikkaluokta (Sweden) on snowshoes/backpack with an attempt on normal route of Kebnekaise South Peak. Second week we will visit Lofoten/Vesteralen. We have questions about the winter/spring routes to reach the huts on Lofoten/Vesteralen: Is it possible with snowshoes/crampons/ice axe (but NO rope) to reach: Lofoten - Munkebu - hut on Moskenes possible??? - Trojfjord - hut on Austvagoya (approach from Slovra/Austpollen) possible???? - Is the route( Nesland -> Nusfjord -> Kilan -> going east to Nappstraumen -> going north to Napp) possble in this period? Vesteralen - Snytind-hut wich route in winter?? Other suggestions for winter dayhike snowshoes/crampons routes on Lofoten/Vesteralen? Thank you very much! Steve BELGIUM
