Flemming Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I’m going (fly) fishing in Norway (Hardangervidda) for the first time this summer. I’m used to fishing in Denmark but looking to become familiar with the various types of fish I may run into. Does anyone know where I can find a list of minimum sizes and other regulations that are important to know? Thank you in advance, Flemming Quote
Pelle Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Hi Flemming! As far as I know, you need a fishing license. There are no minimum size (use common sense). In many lakes, the problem is overpopulation. Contact the tourist office at your starting point, they will give you updated advice and recent reports. Quote
Flemming Posted July 20, 2006 Author Posted July 20, 2006 Thanks a lot for the comment. Got the fishing license yesterday and will ask about sizes locally. Thanks Flemming Quote
