I got the small black Theta AR. You will need to size down in this jacket. If you normally wear a Large, get a Medium.I got the small because I usually wear small, however, this is still slightly large on me. I don't mind since it allows for greater layering and all the zip cords will adjust the jacket accordinglyThe first thing you notice is the attention to detail. Everything is perfect. Mine is the ProShell one that is made in China now..not in Canada. So far, I have not noticed a difference in quality.
I love how the back is extra long so it protects your rear on wet ski lifts and sitting on snow.
I recently used this in the 0 degree, -30 degree windchill along with 30-40mph winds in our crazy Chicago weather while skiing up north and I didn't feel a thing. I am now in love with this jacket. It seems very light and fragile and it makes you wonder if this is "heavy duty" enough for ski crashes and wipeouts but it is amazing. This jacket is made for camping, raining, skiing, backcountry, mtn climbing, etc.
Just do not wear this jacket around as a casual jacket because the extra length in the "rear" makes your butt look extra pudgy and does not look very attractive.
If you wanted an arc-teryx for casual wear (are you crazy? why would you spend [$] on a jacket to just wear it around the city?) just get the normal length ones (not the ar)
