Hi! New member here - I've been advised to seek your expert advice in relation to hiking the Besseggen Ridge on 9th and 10th June. Norwegian weather websites suggest the cold weather around Gjendesheim will get warmer over the coming weeks. I am guessing there is snow on the ridge now but will that still be there when we get there on 9th June if temperatures start going up and it rains? How easy is the ridge in snow - is it crampons and ice ax weather? Any other advice on the likely conditions? We had thought about doing Besshø but that would definitely require crampons I think. Thanks!
