Gjest Anonymous Skrevet 20. juni 2011 Skrevet 20. juni 2011 Hi! I am a tourist from Ukraine. I plan to visit the Hardangervidda plateau at this July. Before going, I will be located in Sandefjord about two hours, and during this time, must buy gas(Kovea balloon, threaded) or petrol. Tell me Tell me please, where can I buy it in Sandefjord? I also want to know how cold at night on Hardangervidda plateau. Takk for hjelpen)))
fred Skrevet 20. juni 2011 Skrevet 20. juni 2011 These are the outoor stores I could find in Sandefjord. I bet most of them sell gas canisters, but at least "G-Sport" and "Intersport" do for sure. Don't really know how cold it could get during the night, but probably not below zero.
Tor-Kjell Skrevet 20. juni 2011 Skrevet 20. juni 2011 It can be down to around minus 5 at night this time a year, but usually not colder than around 0 in june, july and august. Here is a weather-link to a place on the Hardangervidda plateu. http://www.yr.no/sted/Norge/Buskerud/Nore_og_Uvdal/Rauhelleren/ If you click "langtidsvarsel" on the left side of the link, you will see the forecast for the next 8 days. But have in mind, you cant relay on a forecast that long. Have a nice trip

Biltema in Sandefjord also sells gas canisters 230 and 450 : http://www.biltema.no/no/Fritid/Friluftsliv/Kjemikalier/Gassbeholder/
Gjest Anonymous Skrevet 22. juni 2011 Skrevet 22. juni 2011 Thank you all for your help! And who knows, where Biltema in Sandefjord located?
jankj Skrevet 22. juni 2011 Skrevet 22. juni 2011 Biltema is a good, cheap source for gas for summer time use - but have a plan B for buying gas. Quite often, Biltema will be empty for exactly the thing you're looking for.
